Faculty data publishing policy + poll

The faculty of applied sciences now has its official policy on publishing research data. The full document is here, but this is the gist of it:

In other words starting from now everyone should at least publish the numerical data underlying all plots in a paper. That’s what @gsteele13 dubbed “level 0 open data” in the open data policy of the QN department. It is also rather straightforward to implement: when preparing the final plots, you should also export the data as a .csv file (or any other format), upload these to e.g. Zenodo, and link the Zenodo DOI from your manuscript.

So here’s the question, what did you publish alongside your publication so far (select the option that applies best):

  • Raw data together the data processing scripts and/or source code
  • Only processed data
  • Nothing
